Thomas Ragukonis, MD is the medical director of Integrated Medical Care and is board certified in pain management, pain medicine, and anesthesiology. He did his residency training at the prestigious Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. Thomas Ragukonis, MD grew up in New Jersey and earned his BA degree from Rutgers University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the Rutgers Medical School (UMDNJ), where he graduated in 1991 having obtained his degree as a medical doctor. After completing his residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, he immediately began his private practice in Bergen County, New Jersey. For over 25 years, Thomas Ragukonis, MD has developed Integrated Medical Care into a premiere minimally invasive pain management practice with emphasis on minimally invasive spinal techniques.
Thomas Ragukonis, MD continues to keep abreast of the latest cutting-edge spinal interventions including endoscopic discectomy and minimally invasive spinal fusion, which include: SCS and DRG stimulators, as well as intrathecal pumps. Thomas Ragukonis, MD also collaborates with neurosurgeons and Board Certified orthopedic spine surgeons in many instances. While Thomas Ragukonis, MD’ education and certification attest to his knowledge, his patients’ results are the justification for his recognition in these areas.
